Small molded rectangular resin pendant featuring blues and blacks.
This is what I hope is the first of many - transparent resin used to encapsulate a minature scultpure. Yes, I know this doesn't scream "sculpture" but it is a complex marbling of PVC laid down in a sheet, a black line "snakes" across the surface and pieces - not quite beige, not quite circles - sit almost randomly over the sheet. The potential of "building"up a 3-D montage blew my mind. Usually this technique is used to embed insects, flowers, lollies. The idea of using the molds to support a mini sculpture is exciting. I have used a sterling silver bail and the pendant is strung on a 45cm silver plated chain.
